Thorsten Hohage (Göttingen): Variational regularization of inverse problems with Poisson data

Abstract: In a number of inverse problems including deconvolution problems in microscopy and astronomy and PET, the data can be described by a Poisson process. We study variational regularization methods in Banach spaces with the Kullback-Leibler divergence as natural data misfit functional. Convergence results are derived with the help of Fenchel duality.
