Abstract: What is mirror symmetry and what do we see if we ''hold the mirror up to'' a Grassmannian? The simplest Grassmannians are the projective spaces including the Riemann sphere, giving us some very approachable examples. The general picture is a pleasing collaboration between geometry and combinatorics.
