• Short project summary

We live in a complex world, where constantly interact and shape our ecosystems. In my research, I aim to better understand the fascinating interplay of ecology and evolution in natural and semi-natural experiments using fish as my model species (e.g., three-spined sticklebacks, Trinidadian Guppies, and Cichlids). During the last years, I am focusing on investigating the role of individual variation in eco-evolutionary dynamics, examining how ecological factors such as parasitism and competition shape evolutionary processes and species coexistence.
