Study & Examinations Regulations Bachelor's Degree Programs (Teaching Profession)

Zwei-Fach Bachelor (higher-secondary and comprehensive secondary schools) (as of winter semester 2011/2012)

A so called 'polyvalent' degree program, that enables alumni to enter various fields of work. Within the framework of teacher training, a Zwei-Fach-Bachelor is the requirement to advance to the Master's of Education degree program for higher-level secondary and comprehensive secondary schools. This program does not necessitate the study of the ancient languages per se, though a qualifying examination in Greek and either one in Latin or Hebrew are requirements for the admission into the MEd program. It is also expected that you will demonstrate participation in a course in the area of "New Testament" for which you will have to complete an introductory seminar that includes Greek.

 

Bachelor Vocational College (as of winter semester 2011/2012)

This degree program is the requirement in order to advance to the degree program master of education (vocational college). There are no linguistic pre-requisites. This program co operates with the Münster University of Applied Sciences, the second subject must be vocational.

 

Bachelor lower-level & mid-level & comprehensive secondary schools (as of winter semester 2011/2012)

This degree program is the requirement in order to advance to the degree program master of education (lower-level & mid-level & comprehensive secondary schools). There are no linguistic pre-requisites.

 

Bachelor primary schools (as of winter semester 2011/2012)

This degree program is the requirement in order to advance to the degree program master of education (primary schools). There are no linguistic pre-requisites.
