Magazine for Theology and Church
The magazine for Theology and Church (translation, German name: Zeitschrift für Theologie und Kirche (ZThK)) deals with central topics of theological thinking and Church practice. It is directed towards students, as well as teachers of different kinds, priests and everyone who would like to gain regular insights into the most important current research of all theological disciplines. It is a scientific magazine, which informs intensely and wants to trigger own theological work.
The ZThK is published by Albrecht Beutel with Knut Backhaus, Elisabeth Gräb-Schmidt, Annette Kurschus, Thomas Kaufmann, Reinhard Gregor Kratz, Martin Laube, Hartmut Leppin, Michael Moxter, Reinhard Müller, Thomas Schlag.
Every year, there is a new volume with four editions, each about 120-130 pages, in the publisher house Mohr Siebeck.
Manuscripts
Please send manuscripts in a digital form (as word document) only to the editorial office (please also transmit the manuscript in an anonymous way).

The manuscripts should not be longer than 25 ZThK pages. If manuscripts are accepted for publication, then you receive a written confirmation with the reservation that the manuscript was not published in a different way or offered for publication.

Transmission of rights
With the acceptance of publication, the author transfers the exclusive copyright to the publishing house Mohr Siebeck. This copyright ends after the legal copyright protection deadline. The publishing house is allowed to safe data of the admission, to distribute it and to publish the data.
Further information
As the ZThK does not include a part for reviews, the editorial board asks not to send review drafts. Unwanted sent books are not returned. Further information about the author’s rights and about the magazine can be found on the website of Mohr Siebeck.
