EVTL-Projekt
EVTL - Epistolary Visions of Transformational Leadership - is an international and interdisciplinary research project consisting of researchers from five Northern European universities (Aarhus, Münster, Göttingen, Osnabrück and Birmingham), who work together across three different disciplines: new testament, classical philology and ancient history. The project examines Cicero's, Paul's, and Seneca's leadership through letter writing as transformational leadership. The project is funded by the Danish Research Council (DFF). PI: Eve-Marie Becker
Guide “letters - ancient times”
This guide presents recent knowledge about the textual source “letter”. It includes a collection of contributions from many different cultural scientific disciplines to make dimensions of importance of letters in ancient times visible. The textual and communicative phenomenon “letter” is analyzed in systematic-definitory articles, as well as in source-oriented historical case studies.
