As hotels in Münster are usually very busy in August, we recommend that you take care of accommodation at soon as possible. Participants of the summer school are responsible for reservation and payment of their accommodation.

Münster-Osnabrück international airport (FMO) offers many direct flights – both domestic and European. The distance from FMO to Münster is about 25 kilometres. You can choose between direct bus connections or taxis to get to Münster.
Dortmund airport is also nearby (65 km) and offers further international connections. From here you can take a shuttle to Holzwickede station which connects you to Münster. Approximate travel time is 1 to 1.5 hours.
From the international airports in Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Köln/Bonn or Amsterdam, you can also easily reach Münster by train or domestic flight. From Düsseldorf airport to Münster it will take about 1.5 hours by train, from Frankfurt about 3 hours, from Köln/Bonn approximately 2 hours and from Amsterdam (Schiphol) circa 3.5 hours.
