How to find us

By car

Approach Münster by the A1 autobahn until you reach the exit "Münster-Nord"

  • Leave the autobahn (A1) and head for the city center of Münster (Münster-Zentrum) (B54)
  • Follow the B54 (later called Steinfurter Straße) .
  • Straight on until you see Schlossplatz (the large square in front of the castle) on the right hand side.
  • Use the car park on Schlossplatz or turn to the right behind Schlossplatz and use the car park on the right.
  • Schlossplatz 5 is the building on the right side in front of the castle.

By train

ICE, IC and EC trains arrive at Münster (Westfalen) central station (Hauptbahnhof). Be careful:
there are several places called Münster in Germany and France! Münster (Westfalen) is the correct one.

From the central station take

  • Bus 11 direction “Gievenbecker Reihe”
  • Bus 12 direction “Horstmarer Landweg”
  • Bus 14 direction “Zoo“

Get off at bus stop "Landgericht”. Schlossplatz 5 is the building on the right side in front of the castle.

By plane

Münster’s airport is called "Flughafen Münster-Osnabrück" (FMO). It is situated 25 kilometers north of Münster. Other suitable airports are Dortmund, Düsseldorf and Köln which are connected with Münster by train.

Public transportation from "Flughafen Münster-Osnabrück" (FMO): Take bus line S50, R51 or D50 Arrival and Departure at FMO. Get off at Münster railway station "Münster Hauptbahnhof" (bus ride: 35-45 minutes). From there use the busses described for arrival by train.
