We are a new junior research group at the Organic Chemistry Institute with broad research interests spanning supramolecular chemistry, electrochemistry, functional materials and molecular nanotechnology. A particular focus is the development of novel electro-active molecules and their use in sensors, stimuli-responsive systems and redox-driven molecular switches and machines.
If you are interested in our work and would like to discuss possible projects, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with Robert, we have open positions (BSc/MSc/PhD). As part of the Collaborative Research Center 1459 "Intelligent Matter: From Responsive to Adaptive Nanosystems" we are currently looking for a PhD student to work on a collaborative project on redox switching at surfaces and especially in the context of molecular electronics. Applications can be submitted as detailed here.
