Molecular biology

Our laboratory had a long standing interest in understanding how transcription factors control the proliferation and differentiation of eukaryotic cells. In our projects we were focusing mainly on the members of the Myb and C/EBP transcription factor families. We were also studying the molecular biology of the Pdcd4 gene, a novel tumor suppressor gene.
