Habilitation in Musicology at the Westfälischen Wilhelms-University Münster: „Ottoman and European Music in ‘Alī Ufuḳī's Compendium, MS F-Pbn Turc 292: Interpretation, Analysis, Cultural Context (c. 1650)“ (DFG – Temporary Position for Principal Investigator)

      Judith Haug, müzikoloji, Orta Çağ tarihi ve Orta Çağ Alman dili ve edebiyatı öğrenimi gördüğü Augsburg Üniversitesi’nden, 2005 yılında Salomone Rossi’nin İbranice Mezmur besteleri (1622/23) üzerine gerçekleştirdiği çalışmasıyla master derecesini aldı. Bunu 2008 yılında Eberhard-Karls-Universität Tübingen’de, Cenevre Mezmurlar Kitabı’nın Avrupa ve Osmanlı İmparatorluğu’nda yayılması üzerine yaptığı doktora çalışması izledi. 2010–2012 yılları arasında Müzik Bilimi Sanal Kütüphanesi’nde (ViFa Musik) bilimsel görevli olarak çalıştı. Tübingen, Würzburg ve Münster üniversitelerinde ve Folkwang Universität Essen’de dersler verdi. 2012 yılında DFG tarafından kabul edilen ve Münster WWU’da başladığı “Ali Ufukî’nin Mecmûasında (1640 civarı) Osmanlı ve Avrupa Musikisi: Kaynak Okuması, İnceleme ve Kültürler(-aşırı) Bağlam” başlıklı doçentlik projesi, 2016 yılında tamamlanacaktır. Judith I. Haug, 2001–2004 ve 2005–2008 yılları arasında Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes (Alman Halkı Üniversite Vakfı) bursiyeri oldu. Haug, 2015’ten bu yana Kuzey Ren-Vestfalya Bilimler ve Sanatlar Akademisi, Genç Akademisyenler Kurulu’nun üyesidir. Judith Haug, 1 Aralık 2016’dan itibaren Orient-Institut Istanbul’da, 19. yüzyıl Osmanlı elyazması notalarını yayına hazırlamak üzere oluşturulan Corpus Musicae Ottomanicae (CMO) projesinin çalışmalarına katılmaktadır.

    [From the end of 2016 to 2018, she worked at the Orient-Institut Istanbul as a research assistant in the project "Corpus Musicae Ottomanicae (CMO)", which the Orient-Institut Istanbul is conducting in cooperation with the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster. Since October 2018, Judith Haug has been responsible for the research field of musicology at the Orient Institute Istanbul.]
