If you are interested in establishing an institutional partnership, engage in an academic exchange project, perform a research stay at the University of Münster or initiate a research collaboration, we have summarized some general information below, as a first orientation.

At the University of Münster, regarding international researchers from the whole world - from post-doc-level onwards - the central university unit responsible for welcome and advice in Münster is the Welcome Centre. For professors and researchers from Brazil, the Brazil Centre provides complementary, specialized orientation and advice, based on our vast experience and knowledge of the collaborations between UM and Brazil, besides offering support in Brazil, through our Liaison Office in São Paulo.

Visiting researchers who have spent at least one month at the University of Münster, are invited to join our UM Brazilian Alumni Group coordinated by our Liaison Office in São Paulo. Do not miss the opportunity to participate in this alumni group, which meets every year and keeps in touch via LinkedIn (on this platform, the name of the group is Alumni da UM no Brasil).

Please also note that the UM has implemented a REsearch ALumni strategy RE.AL and a Research Ambassador programme in order to promote sustainable relations to its former international academics (for more information please refer here).
