Posters presented: Margareta Hellmann and Dr. Stefan Cord-Landwehr visited 20th ICPG in Prague

Last week, Dr. Stefan Cord-Landwehr and Margareta Hellmann participated in the 20th Annual International Conference on Polysaccharides and Glycoscience (ICPG) in Prague, Czech Republic. They used the opportunity to connect not only with "chitosan people", but also with scientists working on various other polysaccharides, trying to look at the bigger picture and find interesting ways to cooperate and learn from each other. Both presented a poster about our toolbox of analytical methods, Stefan's focusing on the analysis of polysaccharides, whereas Margareta's addressed the characterization of enzymes acting on polysaccharides. Apart from many interesting presentations and posters, they enjoyed the spectacular location right in the Oldtown of Prague, overlooking the famous Charles Bridge, and the great conference dinner at one of Prague's many traditional breweries. Several promising future collaborations and visits have been defined during the meeting, so that new avenues can be explored in future.
