BACCARA Expert Seminar

As a follow-up to the Advanced Battery Power Conference, the BACCARA Expert Seminar featuring Prof William Chueh from Stanford University and Prof Rosa Palacin from ICMAB-CSIC took place at the MEET Battery Research Center on 12 April 2024. BACCARA fellows as well as members of the participating institutes had the opportunity to get in touch with both experts.

The event started with a warm welcome from our scientific director, Prof Martin Winter, followed by talks on “The importance of being rigorous: some battery research examples" by Rosa Palacin Peiró and on “Explaining Non-Trivial Heterogeneities in Battery Electrodes” by William Chueh. Between the presentations and at the subsequent lunch, there was plenty of time for networking and interesting discussions.
