Who nowadays can still relate to the owls carried to Athens? Who remembers the statement attributed to the Roman Emperor Vespasian that money doesn't stink?
In these times of declining humanistic education and increasingly meagre public funding, civic engagement is more in demand than ever. The GEFAM aims to support the scientific and collecting activities of the Archaeological Museum and to promote public relations.
