University of Münster ranks among the top ten universities in Germany
Shanghai University released the 2019 "Academic Ranking of World Universities"
In the recently published "Academic Ranking of World Universities" 2019, the so-called Shanghai Ranking, the University of Münster ranks among the top ten universities in Germany and is listed rank eight to ten. It ranks 151 to 200 in an international comparison. Altogether, the best 1000 universities worldwide were evaluated.
The "Shanghai Ranking" has been evaluating university research achievements worldwide since 2003. The ranking list was developed at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and mainly evaluates publications in important scientific journals such as "Nature" and "Science", the citation rates of academics and people who have been awarded the Nobel Prize or the Fields Medal.
