Personal Bachground:
I was born in Ljubljana, Slovenia, but grew up in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. With a rich, mixed ethnic background, I deeply value equity, as well as diverse perspectives and experiences. Growing up in the Balkans during the post-war period has fostered a strong appreciation for resilience in me, broadened my understanding of societal impact, and highlighted the beauty of blending traditions, languages, and histories.

Motivation:
I joined TReND because I am passionate about understanding the neural mechanisms underlying (neurological) movement disorders. I am excited to collaborate with experts from various countries to translate these insights into impactful solutions and advancements in both treatment and research.
