Inhalt
Class will focus on court cases as well as historical events from the 13th to the 20th century, such as the Salem Witch Trials, the Slavery Abolition Act and England’s last execution. Excerpts from texts/cases will be read and discussed in class, providing students with an insight into some of the most signifcant landmarks of Anglo-American legal history as well as strengthening their speaking and reading skills. Active participation and preparation will be required from students.Dieser Kurs wird für die Allgemeinen Studien anerkannt.
