Arbeiten am Theater ist etwas Besonderes. Jenseits von Stress und Hektik sind Innovation, Kreativität und Teamgeist angesagt. In den letzten Jahren haben umfassende Veränderungen stattgefunden. Wie wirken sich diese auf Ihre Arbeitsbedingungen aus? Wie sehen Sie die Zukunft des Theaters ganz allgemein? Wie bewerten Sie Ihre beruflichen Perspektiven? Wie steht es mit der Vereinbarkeit von Beruf und Familie? Und welche Erwartungen haben Sie an Ihr Theater als Ort künstlerischer Auseinandersetzung und Innovation sowie als Arbeitgeber?

Passion as a Profession?

Working in theater is special. Even amidst the stress - innovation, creativity and team spirit are the order of the day. In recent years, extensive changes in the theater have taken place. How do these changes affect your working conditions? How do you see the future of theater in general? How would you rate your career prospects? What about work-life balance? What expectations do you have of your theater both as a place of artistic debate and innovation and as an employer?

    Warum diese Befragung?

    Das Projekt „Passion als Beruf?“ dient dazu, die Besonderheit der Arbeit am Theater deutlich zu machen, aber auch mögliche Problemfelder aufzudecken. Uns sind Ihre ganz persönlichen Einschätzungen und Meinungen wichtig. Die Befragung wird von der Universität Münster betreut und an sechs Standorten durchgeführt: drei Theater in Nordrhein-Westfalen (Dortmund, Krefeld Mönchengladbach, Münster) und drei Theater in Ostdeutschland (Görlitz-Zittau, Halle, Rostock). Die Befragung erfolgt mit Unterstützung der Theaterleitung und des Personal- bzw. Betriebsrats.

    Wann gibt es Ergebnisse?

    Die Ergebnisse werden im Herbst 2019 zur Verfügung stehen. Wir werden Sie gerne in Absprache mit der Leitung und dem Betriebs-/Personalrat über die Ergebnisse der Befragung vor Ort informieren!

  • Teilnahme und Datenschutz

    Wie kann ich teilnehmen?

    Teilnehmen können alle Mitarbeiter*innen der Theater in Dortmund, Görlitz-Zittau, Halle, Krefeld Mönchengladbach, Münster und Rostock - sowohl aus der Verwaltung, der Technik oder dem künstlerischen Bereich und unabhängig von der Form des Arbeitsvertrags.

    Wenn Sie an der Umfrage teilnehmen möchten, können Sie entweder den Papierfragebogen ausfüllen und in eine der in Ihrem Theater bereitstehenden versiegelten Boxen einwerfen oder den Fragebogen online ausfüllen. ACHTUNG! Hierfür ist das Passwort auf der Titelseite des Papierfragebogens erforderlich.

    Was passiert mit meinen Daten?

    Bei den Erhebungen der Forschungsgruppe BEMA wird der Internationale Kodex für die Markt- und Sozialforschung strikt eingehalten. Dies bedeutet unter anderem:

    • Wissenschaftlichkeit: Unsere Erhebungen sind Teil wissenschaftlicher Forschungsprojekte, bei denen nach dem aktuellen Forschungsstand empirische Untersuchungen durchgeführt werden.
    • Anonymisierung: Sämtliche erhobenen Daten werden ausschließlich in anonymisierter Form verwendet und nur für die sozialwissenschaftliche Forschung verwendet. Ergebnisse werden immer so veröffentlicht, dass keine Rückschlüsse auf einzelne Teilnehmer möglich sind.
    • Abgrenzung: Unsere Erhebungen haben ausschließlich wissenschaftliches Interesse; wir verkaufen also nichts, vermitteln keine Abonnements, und es entstehen selbstverständlich auch keine Telefongebühren für Sie.

  • Study and results

    Why this survey?

    The project "Passion als Beruf?" (Passion as a Profession?) intends to illustrate the distinctiveness of theater work and also uncover possible problem areas. Your personal assessment and opinions are important to us. The survey is supervised by the University of Münster and conducted at six locations: three theaters in North Rhine-Westphalia (Dortmund, Krefeld Mönchengladbach, Münster) and three theaters in East Germany (Görlitz-Zittau, Halle, Rostock). The survey is conducted with the support of the theater management and the staff/work council.

    When are there results?

    The results will be available in the fall of 2019. We will be pleased to discuss the results of this study in consultation with the management and the works/staff council at each site!

  • Participation and privacy

    How can I participate?

    Everyone who works at the Dortmund, Görlitz-Zittau, Halle, Krefeld Mönchengladbach, Münster and Rostock theaters is welcome to participate - whether you work in performance, production, front of house, back of house, administrative, or management.

    If you would like to take the survey, you can either complete the paper questionnaire and drop it in one of the sealed boxes at your theater, or fill in the questionnaire online. Attention! This requires the password on the front page of the paper questionnaire.

    What happens with my data?

    Surveys of the BEMA research group strictly comply with the International Code of Social and Market Research. This means among other things:

    • Scientific: Our surveys are part of scientific research projects in which empirical research is carried out according to the current state of research.
    • Anonymization: All collected data will be used exclusively in anonymous form and used only for social science research. Results are always published in such a way that no conclusions can be drawn about individual participants.
    • Delineation: Our surveys are exclusively of scientific interest. So we sell nothing, do not sell subscriptions, and there are of course no telephone charges for you.
