Our integrated research training group (RTG) is an essential platform for the scientific training and development of all doctoral students involved in the CRC. As such the RTG “Adaptive nanosystems: Principles and applications” is our “melting pot” and source of inspiration for innovative ideas. The RTG supports all aspects of scientific research to enable our doctoral students to build confidence in their scientific and communication skills. Thereby, the RTG implements the concept of self-governance in order to foster independence and academic maturity of all doctoral students and train their organizational skills with an annual budget and support by project leaders.

Within the integrated RTG, a uniform educational and supervision scheme for the doctoral students is implemented to guarantee structured doctoral training and successful timely completion of the doctoral training.
