Your journal
- Would you like to publish a journal published by your institute digitally?
- Would you like to start a new journal?
- Would you like to better organize or more conveniently manage your already running journal?
With the e-journal editorial system Open Journal Systems (OJS), the University and State Library operates a platform for the publication of your e-journal. Open Journal Systems is a globally distributed open source software that enables the efficient management and organization of an online journal. The layout of the journal as well as the editorial process can be customized. Open Journal Systems is being further developed by the Public Knowledge Project.
Members of the University of Münster can publish their own e-journal and manage the editorial process with Open Journal Systems.
We will be happy to set up access to our OJS platform for your journal and help you adapt and familiarize yourself with the system. We are also available to support you during the operation of it.
If you want to publish a new journal, one of the things you need is an ISSN. The German National Library is responsible for assigning them; information is available on the pages of the German National Library.
