March 2024
The team of the Busch Lab met for a retreat at the country house Rothenberge in the end of March.
The main focus of the retreat was our research, brainstorming on different topics, lively discussions and some team building activities.
Thank you to everyone for the great stay at the country house Rothenberge.

Congratulations to Prof. Dr. Niko Busch, who received a grant from DFG for his project “The role of typicality in visual scene recognition: A comparison between neural networks and human memories”.
The project investigates human perception and memory of complex visual scenes and how these processes are influenced by the characteristics of the  image.

Congratulations to Prof. Dr. Niko Busch and Elena Cesnaite who together with Dr. Ramune Griksiene from the University of Vilnius received the Baltic-German University Liaison Office grant for the collaboration project "Rhythms in the human body: the search for relationships between brain oscillations and fluctuations of sex hormones"! The project of the Baltic-German University Liaison Office is supported by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) with funds from the Foreign Office of the Federal Republic Germany.
