Opening of the Europa-Kolleg

The newly-established Europa-Kolleg unites three individual projects from English, German and Slavic studies that are funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG). The opening ceremony will include speeches by (among others) the British ambassador Simon McDonald, the writer Robert Menasse, literary scholar Jurko Prochas'ko, and the Anglican Bishop of Gibraltar in Europe Rt Rvd Dr. Geoffrey Rowell. The event will last about two hours and will take place at the Festsaal of the University. Everyone interested is kindly invited to join the event.
