Funding Opportunities

The majority of our members has a scholarship. Another way to fund your PhD is by working as a research and teaching assistant at the university.

The Graduate School Practices of Literature is currently offering DAAD scholarships for international students. German applicants are required to find and secure external funding. Applying for funding and for admission to the GSPoL can be done simultaneously, and after admission, the coordination office will offer additional support.

Moreover, the website of the Bundesverband Deutscher Stiftungen includes a database with search options.
