Directions to the facilities of the Department of Physics
By Train/Bus:
> From Münster main station
several bus lines (2, 5, 12 and at night the N80 and N85 lines) run from the main station to the Coesfelder Kreuz stop. The stop "Coesfelder Kreuz" is located at the Mensa am Ring. The journey time is 15-20 minutes, depending on the line. From there, the institutes can be reached on foot within a few minutes.
You can find a bus connection from Münster (Westf.) / Hauptbahnhof to Münster (Westf.) / Coesfelder Kreuz at Stadtwerke Münster or VRR.
> From Münster-Osnabrück airport (FMO)
take the S50, D50 or R51 bus to Münster main station.
By Car:
> From the direction of Recklinghausen
Via the A43; Münster-Süd interchange; continue towards Münster/B51 (end of the highway); straight ahead onto the B219 (Weseler Straße) towards Gronau/Ibbenbüren; at the large intersection with two left-turn lanes, turn left onto Kolde-Ring continuing towards Gronau/Ibbenbüren; after the second set of traffic lights, Kolde-Ring becomes Kardinal-von-Galen-Ring; cross the Aa-See and after the fifth set of traffic lights you will be at the Coesfelder Kreuz intersection. Via Einsteinstraße (left towards Coesfeld), Corrensstraße and Wilhelm-Klemm-Straße you will reach the parking garage on Domagkstraße near the Mensa am Ring, where you can park free of charge. From there, the institutes can be reached on foot within a few minutes.
> From the direction of Osnabrück
Via the A1; Münster Nord interchange; continue towards Münster (end of the highway); straight ahead onto the B54 (Steinfurter Straße); after the Münster town sign, turn right at the third set of traffic lights, towards Coesfeld, onto the Orleans-Ring. After the second set of traffic lights you are at the Coesfelder Kreuz. Take Einsteinstraße (right towards Coesfeld), Corrensstraße and Wilhelm-Klemm-Straße to the parking garage on Domagkstraße near Mensa II, where you can park free of charge. From there, the institutes can be reached on foot within a few minutes.
> From the direction of Dortmund
