Weak Confinement in the Ising Field Theory
We investigate the two-dimensional ferromagnetic Ising field theory in a weak external magnetic field h. Besides its magnetic condense matter realizations, Ising field theory can be viewed also as a relativistic particle theory, giving a nice toy model of quark confinement. According to Wu and McCoy scenario, fermions (domain walls) being free at h=0, are coupled into bosonic kink-antikink bound states at arbitrary small h>0. We calculate perturbatively in <it>h</it> the masses Mn of such excitations for n >> 1, and their decay widths above the stability threshold.
