  Inhalt: The lectures deal with spin phenomena in three-dimensional solids and low-dimensional systems: (i) collective magnetism based on exchange interaction and (ii) spin-momentum locking and topologically nontrivial behavior based on spin-orbit interaction. Well-known as well as novel phenomena will be described, state-of-the-art experimental techniques presented, and topical applications discussed.
