Neue Aspekte zur Astro- und Supernova-Physik
Prof. Dr. Karlheinz Langanke, GSI Darmstadt |
Massive stars end their lives in a supernova explosion triggered by the gravitational collapse
of their inner core. The dynamics of the collapse is greatly determined by weakinteraction
processes like electron captures on nuclei and neutrino-induced reactions. Supernovae
are also the environment of fast explosive nucleosynthesis.
The talk will discuss the general picture of stellar nucleosynthesis and core-collapse supernovae
and will highlight a few recent developments.
