More than 20 well-established research groups from the fields chemistry, pharmacy, medicine, biology, physics and geosciences work with mass spectrometry. Extensive expertise and scientific excellence is accumulated in the cross-faculty network, in project oriented application as well as in technical development.

In our network mass spectrometry everyone comes together: from researchers who prefer to modify their equipment to operators that use mass spectrometric techniques specificly to answer complex questions.

The outstanding interdisciplinary collaboration of the researches results in a wide-ranging competence that offers many possibilities for research, development and also routine operations.
