Prior she studied Public Management and Organisation, Political Science and French at the University of Potsdam. Further, she has worked as a research assistant for the Mercator Research Institute of Global Commons and Climate Change (MCC), for the Technical Support Unit of the Working Group III of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and as consultant for the Deutsche Gesellschaft für internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in Lesotho.
He studied political science and economics at the University of Trier, at IEP „Sciences Po“ Bordeaux and at the University of Colorado, Boulder. In his Master’s thesis, he analyzed the international climate and trade negotiations. Prior to joining the research project and the Chair for International Governance (Prof. Dr. Markus Lederer) at the University of Münster in October 2015, he worked as an intern with GIZ’s Competence Center for Climate Change and as a policy advisor with Thuringia’s Ministry of Economic Affairs.
