Im Nature Network läßt uns Jennifer Rohn in ihrem Blog Mind the Gap an einem Moment des völligen Einsseins mit ihrer Laborarbeit teilhaben: In which two dreams and an episode of CSI change the course of history.

Occasionally, […] a hushed, fuzzy focus falls over the lab and I suddenly view my experimental manipulations as a beloved ritual. It happened today, actually, a CSI Moment. In honor of it, I ceremoniously snipped off a length of BenchKote to transform my work space into a pure white sacred zone, and then my robot and I performed a high throughput immunofluorescence assay in perfect serenity.

Das Nature Network gibt interessante Einsichten in all das, was Wissenschaftlern etwas bedeutet – sehr lesenswert. Ich habe mir nicht nehmen lassen, dort präsent zu sein und einen Münster-Hub zu gründen, dem man gerne beitreten kann und der gewisse Vorteile mit sich bringt: „If enough people from your area join, specify their hub, and are active on Nature Network, we may launch a full-fledged hub for your area like we have for Boston and London. A full-fledged hub would bring you local events listings, careers information and local news.“

Der Hub für Berlin ist mit 60 Mitgliedern schon sehr aktiv.
