ECS Student Chapter Münster Awarded

Group Offers Opportunity to Network within the Scientific Community

In recognition of the chapter’s efforts, the Electrochemical Society (ECS) has honored the ECS Student Chapter Münster as Chapter of Excellence 2024. Each year, the award recognizes an exceptional group that actively participates in the Electrochemical Society’s technical activities, establishes community and outreach activities in the areas of electrochemistry, solid-state science and engineering education as well as builds a robust membership base.

Encouraging Young Scientists

With the aim of encouraging young scientists and providing networking opportunities within the scientific community, the ECS Student Chapter Münster was founded in 2020. As a recognized group of the largest international electrochemical society, it offers students numerous events, contact and knowledge exchange and further education possibilities. “Being named Chapter of Excellence 2024 is a great compliment for us. We are very pleased that the ECS recognizes our efforts over the past few years with this award”, says Chapter President Dominik Weintz.
