The prerequisites for this seminar are the course "Functional Analysis" as well as solid background in the basics of measure theory. Operator Algebras courses will not be assumed. We will closely follow the book "Lectures on Choquet's Theorem" by Robert R. Phelps. If grade is needed, it will be based on a talk which will be scheduled at the end of the semester, on an advanced topic based on the material learnt in the seminar. The seminar also fits for students who want to write a Bachelor thesis, as well as for students writing their master thesis. An introductory meeting will be scheduled for October 4th in SR4 at 4pm.
