This seminar is about the publishing of books in translation. It explores the many processes allowing for the international circulation of texts, like the various translation strategies employed by the translator or the different intermediaries involved in the making of translations. This seminar will mainly focus on Anglophone publishing and the stakes at play when a translation reaches an Anglophone context or is translated from English.
