In the first half of this seminar, we will read the introductions to works of contemporary feminist thought from the last two decades. After the first half of the sessions, students will take over the rest of the seminar: what do you want to read and discuss more about? We will have one session where we discuss which chapters from which books we want to read and discuss in depth in the remaining weeks (the plan is to choose from the books on the syllabus, but other recommendations are welcome and encouraged). Among others, we will read the works of Kate Manne, Laurie Penny and Amia Srinivasan. Every student will present one introduction and a chapter from that same book of their choosing.
