Welcome to the M10 seminar "Data Acquisition & Data Analysis - Brain Technologies"
The seminar will focus on neuroscience-based techniques and methods used in sports and exercise research to assess brain activity and neural correlates, such as EEG, fNIRS, TMS and tCS. A special focus will be on the acquisition and analysis of the electrical brain activity by gaining a deeper insight into techniques used to asses and/or influence the brains electrical activity, e.g. EEG and tCS. The seminar will cover some theoretical aspects and biological background of brain technologies in sports neuroscience - from the sources of electrical brain signals over the application of technologies (e.g. hardware and software, practical lab sessions) to the data analysis and interpretation of electrical brain activity in the context of sport and exercise research.
