Topic of this course is the interplay of personality and social perceptions at zero-acquaintance. How does personality influence how we are perceived by others? How accurate is our spontaneous estimation of others’ personalities (e.g., on the basis of Facebook profiles)? Who is more likable at first sight? Those and other questions will be discussed on the basis of empirical studies and deepened carrying out small research projects.
