Course content:
International trade is of enormous importance for Germany. Large companies are increasingly multinational to transnational. Small and medium-sized companies, too, can no longer escape international competition with its opportunities and risks. Therefore, the lecture asks on the one hand how cross-border corporations are (can be) managed, and on the other hand examines the way in which national companies (should) make decisions regarding imports and exports, choice of location and international cooperation. After clarifying the general economic basics, the management problems are functionally differentiated and discussed.
