The university needs new university groups!

Abstract: The Bliss Dance Crew at Münster University exemplifies the dynamism of student-led cultural initiatives. Stemming from the Neue Wände Festival 2023, this dance group surmounted structural challenges, carving a niche for itself and fostering a strong sense of community. Despite limited resources, and navigating the dual nature of dance as both sport and art, the crew's journey underscores the significance of volunteerism and active student involvement in shaping the University‘s cultural landscape. In a conversation with Caroline von Lengerke, two trainers from the crew emphasize the need for supportive platforms that amplify and celebrate the diverse talents of students, advocating for greater inclusivity and accessibility in cultural opportunities across the campus.
