Chamber Choir of the University of Münster
The university chamber choir (approx. 30 singers) sings a cappella works from different eras: early polyphony (Hassler, Sweelinck), lesser-known Romanticism (Schreck, Herzogenberg), 20th century works (Daley, Distler). We offer a youthful choral sound, lively musical charisma, great emotionality - and last but not least, fun at rehearsals. Concerts in Münster and the surrounding area (approx. 2 per semester).
Choir experience desired, registration required.
Participation in the choir can be credited towards general studies.
Time: Tuesday 19.30-22 (14-tgl.) and 1 weekend/month (Fri. evening/Sat. afternoon), also during lecture-free periods.
Location: Protestant University Church, Schlaunstraße (at the Buddenturm)
