Botanical Garden
The WWU Botanical Garden, founded in 1803, is nestled in the castle park with its old trees. In the oldest building, the Orangerie, exhibitions are held regularly in summer. The Botanical Garden serves research and teaching and is an oasis of peace for its visitors in the middle of the city. In the greenhouses and also in the near-natural open field, it offers various opportunities to get to know the biodiversity of different habitats. The garden offers the most diverse possibilities of development for its visitors.
