Protestant University Church / Observant's Church
The church was built at the end of the 17th century as a monastery church of the Franciscan Observants. After the abolition of the order, the building was used secularly and in 1961 it was given to the Protestant Theological Faculty of the University as a university church. The main organ was built in 1962 by the organ building company Ott according to a disposition design by Rudolf Reuter.
Today the church is assigned to the Faculty of Protestant Theology. Church services of the Protestant university congregation as well as spiritual concerts are held there.
