Organization
The Graduate School of Politics is administered by the Institute of Political Science at the University of Münster, which is one of the largest political science research institutions in Germany with around 1,400 students. The governing body of the GraSP is the Executive Board, which is made up of four university lecturers, one research assistant with a doctorate and two members of the GraSP pursuing a doctorate. The board decides on the establishment of research groups, the admission of new doctoral students, mediates in conflicts between doctoral students and the team of supervisors and is involved in the conception of the GraSP programmes.
The management of GraSP is the responsibility of Dr Matthias Freise, who also acts as the contact person for all questions relating to GraSP. In addition to the administration of the GraSP, Mr Freise is responsible for the conception of the courses on offer and represents the GraSP in smartNETWORK. He is supported by Jojo Hofmann, student assistant at GraSP.
