Launch of the Graduate School of Natural Products (GS-NP)

On April 1st 2022 the kick-off event for the start of the Graduate School of Natural Products (GS-NP) of the Departments of Biology, Medicine and Chemistry and Pharmacy, newly founded at the end of 2021, took place in the large lecture hall of the PharmaCampus. The structured doctoral program with a strong international orientation combines the expertise of 20 interdisciplinary working groups on the topic of natural products and offers the participating doctoral candidates excellent opportunities to deepen their knowledge in the field of natural products, to acquire interdisciplinary skills and to engage in a broad scientific exchange.

The kick-off event was attended by the leaders of the various GS-NP working groups as well as most of the participating PhD students. Prof. Dr. Andreas Hensel, head of the Institute of Pharmaceutical Biology and Phytochemistry, presented the doctoral candidates with a certificate of participation in the GS-NP and wished them all a successful start and fruitful cooperation within the framework of the graduate school.
