Abstract of Research Project

Benzoanulation is frequently used method to build up molecules and to modify chemical and pharmaceutical properties of compounds. Recently there was investigated a new multistep i rearrangement cascade [1] which can be used for this purpose. However, scope and limitation of this reaction aren't investigated jet perfectly. The focus of my research is a more detailed study of this reaction and its application in modern organic synthesis of polyfunctional systems.
