This volume collates the preserved fragments of Origen’s commentary on Genesis; the extracts are taken from his commentary on Genesis, which commented on the history of creation (Gen. 1:1–5:1), and from the scholia which relate to the rest of the biblical book. The Greek text is extracted from the new edition of the series "Griechische christliche Schriftsteller".
