…by public transport:

By plane

If you fly into the Münster/Onsabrück regional airport (FMO), take bus lines S50 and R51 to Münster Central Station (observe timetables). From there follow instructions for getting there “by bus,” take a taxi, or walk.

By train

Deutsche Bahn trains travel to Münster from all directions (observe timetables). From there you can reach the IJD “by bus,” by taxi, or by walking.

By bus

From Münster Central Station you can catch a bus at either of the B1 or C1 (map) stops to the IJD:
From the B1 stop the following bus lines run:
1 (toward MS Roxel)
12 (toward MS Gievenbeck)
13 (toward MS Eissporthalle)

From the C1 stop the following bus lines run:
11 (toward MS Dieckmannstrasse)
22 (toward MS Gievenbeck)

Take any of these to the “Krummer Timpen” bus stop (observe timetables). From here, walking in the direction that the bus is traveling, take an immediate right onto “Krummer Timpen” and then, in half a block, your first left onto “Wilmergasse.” The last door on the right side of the street is the Institutum Judaicum Delitzschianum.

From the South

Travel into Münster-Süd on the A1 or the A43 toward Münster. Follow the road toward the City Center (Innenstadt) until you come to the “Schlossplatz” parking lot in front of the Schloss (the big yellow palace which is the University’s administrative headquarters). Note that you cannot park on Wilmergasse itself (the street that the IJD is on).

From the North

Travel into Münster-Nord on the A1 and follow the road toward Münster until you reach the “Schlossplatz” parking lot in front of the Schloss (the big yellow palace which is the University’s administrative headquarters). Note that you cannot park on Wilmergasse itself (the street that the IJD is on).

With GPS

The IJD and the Schlossplatz parking lot should be easy to locate on any GPS or navigation device.
