Library of the Department of Old Testament Studies

The library of the Department of Old Testament Studiesis a reference library. All students of the University of Münster with a valid student identification card can loan books over the weekend and public holidays. Its current holdings are distributed over three rooms inside the faculty of protestant theology: room 206 holds magazines, dictionaries, lexica, editions, commentaries, commemorative publications, monographs and key texts for a seminar. Room 204 holds volumes about the historiography and the history of Israel and the Middle East, archeology, numismatics as well as many pieces of epigraphy. Room 202b holds volumes about the history of religion, contemporary history and the environment of the Ancient Near East.

You can find magazines dated before 1980 and the signature G I in the ‘Compactus’ facility (entry granted via the library post).
