Conference fees:

We kindly ask presenters to register no later than June 22, 2018, to ensure a place in the programme. After that date, the programme will be finalised.

Please note the following two points before registering for EuroSLA 28 below:

1. EuroSLA 28 will feature a special lunch session entitled Fundamental issues in SLA: Eliciting out-of-the-box ideas. The session organizers (Jan Hulstijn, Andrea Révész, & Aline Godfroid) and discussants (Christine Dimroth & Marianne Gullberg) would like to invite you to participate in a brief, two-question, anonymous survey that elicits your views about fundamental issues in second language acquisition research. After successful registration you will receive a confirmation email. Please read this email carefully: It contains a link to the survey page (that you can ignore if you already filled out the survey). Results will be presented at a special lunch session at the conference on Friday, September 7, 2018.

2. EUROSLA supports IRIS, the repository of materials and data for second language research [www.iris-database.org]. IRIS offers a 25€ discount to delegates who contribute materials or data to IRIS during the registration period for EUROSLA 2018. Discounts are available for 17 delegates (first come, first served). The materials or data must have been used for a peer-reviewed published (or in press) work or an approved PhD thesis, for research into second languages (learning, use, processing, teaching, etc.). If you pay this reduced rate, your contact details (name, affiliation, & email address) will be passed on to the IRIS team. 'Materials' includes stimuli, elicitation tasks, instruments, protocols, questionnaires, teaching intervention materials, among many others. 'Data' must be anonymised and in an unanalysed format. For more information, and to upload your materials/data, please visit www.iris-database.org. If you cannot upload the materials/data yourself, email iris@iris-database.org, attaching the materials/data with at least one reference to the related published work or approved PhD thesis. (Please note, if you take the reduced fee but do not then contribute materials/data, you must repay the deduction to IRIS.) Please email iris@iris-database.org with queries.

• Language Learning Roundtable (September 5)

• Welcome reception
• Tea / coffee breaks
• Lunch on Thursday and Friday (September 6-7)
• One-year EuroSLA membership worth €50 (full members – researchers including postdoctoral researchers) or €30 (student members)

Note: by becoming a EUROSLA member, you agree that your personal information can be transferred to EUROSLA and that you may be contacted by email solely for the purposes of EUROSLA-related business, during your period of membership.
