Pieces by Benjamin Britten (1913-1976), who is known for his clear, often tonal lines and emotional depth, will be performed. His works combine British tradition with modern influences and subtle timbres. In addition, Francis Poulenc (1899-1963) with vocal music that ranges from playful lightness to serious spirituality.

This will be complemented by Jake Runestad, a contemporary composer who stands out in choral music with lyrical melodies and expressive soundscapes.

The concert is a collaboration between Ensemble 22 and a string quartet from the University of Music and is sponsored by Sparkasse Münsterland Ost and the University of Münster's cultural fund.
